The global, fast-paced nature of today's business world presents new learning challenges for organizations. Physically gathering together is not always possible or the most effective way to receive learning.
The virtual environment is an opportunity to learn via distance learning experiences, which can closely simulate face-to-face events.
Leadership Labs developed the Multi-sensory Distance Learning Process which establishes an experiential learning process in the virtual environment. One goal of this process is to "humanize" the use of the Internet and telecommunication technology.
Leaders meet briefly, regularly, over a fixed period of time. In this facilitated space, leaders learn to express their experiences through stories and connect with other participant's experiences using a simple technology - a conference call. Their stories are captured in visual language and become "storybooks."
